Bali Trip

Akina's First Plane Ride

Attention everyone...Kai has arrived! (entrance to the hotel)

Kai swimming in the kiddie pool at Hyatt, Sanur.

Natalie and Akina swimming at the Grand Hyatt, Nusa Dua.

Our room at the Grand Hyatt, Nusa Dua.
Notice how Kai already has the shower soap and shampoo.

Grand Hyatt Entrance Lobby with view of ocean.

I had to post this b/c it was too funny...the mani/pedi guy put on a head light to do my nails and then whipped out a hand fan from his pocket to dry my nails. He did an amazing job!

Peter and Kai playing in the sand in front of our hotel.

Time for a nap!

Merry Christmas

Bali Children's Orphanage came to sing at our dinner.

Kai Kun loved playing in the snow!

Can anyone write a caption for this photo?

Kai woke up to see what Santa brought to Bali.
Kai read the back of each cover all day long.

The lounge for drinks each evening.

Seafood dinner on the beach, Jimbaran.

Dinner and entertainment.

The slide at Hyatt, Nusa Dua...Kai's favorite part of the trip.

Kai putting a sticker on his baby.

Touring the Bali temples.

Lunch overlooking the cascading rice fields...beautiful!

We were waiting out the rain so that we could go to monkey forest....
Kai decided it would be fun to play in the heavy rain...just like the shower, right?

This pamphlet says that there are monkeys around here...
Monkey Forest, Ubud.

Shopping in the local market.

Next few pictures below:
Water palace...one of the most beautiful places we've been to!

Playing the bamboo instruments

Bali Zoo

Princess Akina by the pool

Every morning Kai would look for his baby and say hi to her...followed by lots of hugs and kisses.

The second week Kai was swimming on his own with water wings!!!

Our morning breakfast at the lounge. Hyatt, Nusa Dua.

Our Bali souvineer, hand carved coffee table.

Kai fed the fish his remaining breakfast each morning.
